Ski Heavenly & Beyond
Heavenly Mountain Resort is just 2.3 miles from our bungalows — 97 trails spread across California and Nevada with sweeping lake views from the ridgeline. Sierra at Tahoe (16 miles) and Kirkwood (34 miles) round out one of the densest ski regions in North America. Season typically runs late November through April.
Emerald Bay & the Rim Trail
The Tahoe Rim Trail circles the entire lake across 165 miles of ridge-top terrain. Shorter day hikes — Angora Lakes, Cascade Falls, Eagle Falls at Emerald Bay — are within easy reach of our South Lake Tahoe properties. The views from above are unlike anywhere else in the Sierra.
Mountain Biking the Rim
The Tahoe Rim Trail doubles as one of the premier mountain biking routes in the West. Flume Trail, Marlette Lake, and the Tahoe East Shore Trail offer everything from mellow rides to technical singletrack with jaw-dropping lake views at every turn.

A short trail from Emerald Bay State Park leads to one of Tahoe's most photographed waterfalls — best in early summer when snowmelt is still running strong.
Snow Tubing & Sledding
Heavenly's Adventure Mountain has snow tubing, a mountain roller coaster, and family snow activities just minutes from our bungalows — perfect for non-skiers and kids.
Paddleboarding & Kayaking
El Dorado Beach and Regan Beach are a short walk from our South Lake Tahoe properties. Paddleboard and kayak rentals are steps away. Tahoe's water is clearest in July and August.
